You guys God amazes me in so many ways. For a few months I have been following several prophetic word blogs. If prophetic words are a new thing to you here’s a quick summary of what they are. They are words from others to give hope, encouragement, and can also confirm what we know God is telling us until we see breakthrough. You may know that God gave me a word last year and I have been waiting to see that come to pass. A few of my favorites to follow are Lana Vawser Ministeries, JoLynne Whittaker, and The Crowning Jewles.
The last few weeks God started to show me that I need to “cherish” (read why that is one of my word for this year) and to be “thankful”for the things happening and things that have been given to me in the next few months expecially. When I say “especially over the next few months” I don’t mean I will disregard thankfullness when I feel God has me moved on. God gives us lessons so that we will carry what we learn through the rest of life and to help others. To be honest after God told me to be thankful, I kinda forgot about what he told me, and just moved on to the next thing. I mean thankfulness is meant to be talked about at Thanksgiving and then disregarded until the next November, right? WRONG, thankfulness is something that should be talked about everyday.
Crowning Jewels Prophetic Ministry is a ministry that makes prophetic jewelry. All you do is pick a style and then give them your name. They pray over you and ask God for direction, and choose a word for you piece of jewlery. They also put out a monthly prophetic word on their blog. Which is always encouraging and amazing. After following this blog I planned to order a necklace but never did. Yesterday at church one of my closest friends gave me a gift and in it was a necklace from this company with the word “thankful” engraved on it. Clearly God doesn’t want me to disregared thankfullness, because ladies that haven’t heard my story or that God told me felt led to engrave this on my prophetic necklace. I needed to start being thankful for the things he is doing and the things I have been given.
Without being thankful I could miss out on the opportunity to grow closer to God, and most of all I could miss out on my breakthrough something I have waited for God to complete for a year. Is there something God told you that maybe you have been disobedient to follow through with? God wants us to recieve all the things he has instore for you! He is a loving Father, He doesn’t push things on us because He wants you to seek us. But when we wonder why we aren’t seeing things or hearing from God it is probably waiting for us to stop being disobedient and get our act together.
I encourage you to spend sometime with God today asking, and seeking him to show you if you have been or are being disobedient in any area of you life. Never let the size of your problem or the size of the circumstance become greater than the size of your thankfulness
Welcome to 2019! You made it! I am so excited for a new year. I believe this year is a year of breakthrough, adventure into new seasons of life, and so many things we aren’t aware of yet. Today, I thought I would share my vision borad with you. A vision board is just a way to constantly see your goals and a tool to stay on track. (pictured above)
Before I share my goals with you, I thought I would first share my “Word(s) of the year.” I chose after praying and talking with God that this year would be a year of adventure and that I needed to cherish the people, places, and things I do this next year. So I chose the words “Adventure” and “Cherish.”
Now for the moment you’ve all been waiting for... drum 🥁 roll please
My Goals for 2019
Adventure or Explore
(as pictured above) this year I want to see new place, go deeper with God, and do things I’ve been afraid to do before.
I am taking a few trips...
In order to achieve my goals of traveling I need to get my passport. Which means I need to save money, fill out paper work, and go turn it in.
I Want to get Healthier.
Choose the veggies instead of chocolate.
Water instead of coffee or tea
and Work out 3 times a week
Write a Book
At the end of 2018 I felt God laying on my heart to share more of my story with chronic illness and my life journey. So this year my number one goal is to write a book and title it “EmbracingYour Journey” . I don’t yet know if I will ever publish this book or if I will just turn my writing into blog posts and speaking engagements. I just feel I need to be obedient to God and write my heart and story. I believe we all have a journey to live, some people have things in common about their story. I also know that each of us are different. I want to help you embrace your God given journey and how to walk confidently in you calling.
There you have it. My goals for 2019. Yes, I know there aren’t more than 5 but I believe this year I am focusing on these things. I don’t enjoy big goals. They stress me out and often don’t get achieved because of that. So I chose 4 goals that I really need to focus on.
What is your word and or goal for this year? Comment below! I love to hear from you!
