I am soo happy to be back! I truly did miss blogging over the last two months. A few things have changed since my last blog post. I merged Simply Loving Jesus and my personal account Makyna Elise. In doing so, I hope to devote more time to YOU! I am still serving women in the midst of their suffering to help them embrace their journey all while simply loving Jesus. You can still find me on all my platforms.
I am also launching a virtual coffee date with yours truly! Coffee with Makyna is a virtual coffee date on Instagram LIVE. It will happen once a month, where we will chat about all the things! Some months may be focused toward a certain topic, and other months I will bring on some of the people I find encouraging, inspiring, and hands down awsome, and I know you will too! The first Coffee with Makyna LIVE is tomorrow, Saturday August 31,2019 over on my Instagram @makyna.elise
I thought before we jumped in I’d share a few things you MUST know about me!
Keep reading for this week’s blog post..
Over the summer I spent numerous hours in the car, and found a few podcasts that I really enjoyed. One of my favorites was episode 8 of Jeremy & Audrey Roloff’s Behind the Scenes Podcast. This episode is centered around the verse Ephesians 3:20, “Now to him who is able to do immeasurbly more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us,”
This topic of "Always More" very quickly became special to my heart. It left me empowered knowing that there was always more according to His power at work in me. It means that no matter what is going on in or around my life God is using His spirit through me.
There are always more test to beat, always more painful days to conquer, always more joy ahead, always more time with Jesus, always more love to give away, always more peace, grace, and mercy, always more breakthrough to come, always more victory, always more blogs to write, always more posts to posts, always more coffee to drink, always more books to be read, always more adventures to be had, always more memories to make, always more people that simply need Jesus.
I challenge you to listen to this podcast episode and share with someone what always more means to you!
Until next week,
Thanks for being here!
