Hey Hey! I hope your saturday was so awesome and relaxing. Last night I had an amazing time going through my journal of all the things God has done in 2018. I thought I would share my favorite verses from this year with you. Each of them have given me SO much hope in this waiting season!
“But Mary treaured up all these things and pondered them in her heart.” Luke 2:19
Many times this year God showed me that He places the desires in our hearts. He also showed me that I need to ponder and cherish more!
“Son of man, what is this proverb you have in the land of Israel: ‘The days go by and every vision comes to nothing?’ Say to them, ‘This is the Sovereign Lord says: I am going to put an end to this proverb, and they will no longer quote it in Israel.’ Say to them, ‘The days are near when every vision will be fulfilled.” Ezekiel 12:22-25
I have been believing for breakthrough for a while and this verse was prophecied many times through out the year. It gives me hope that my promise and word will be fulfilled soon!
“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ the new creation has come. The old is gone, the new is here. 2 Corinthians 5:17
God is doing a new thing! The old ways of living are GONE and new and better is to come!
“See I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not preceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and stream in the wasteland.” Isaiah 43:18-19
Again we see a verse were God says, “He is doing a new thing.” He is making a way where there was NO way.
“Not that I have already obtained all this, or have already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind an straining torward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” Philippians3:12-14
To me this verse is very humbling. I don’t claim to know all the answers but I press toward the goal for which God has called me heavenward.
“Now to him who is able to do immeasureably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.” Ephesians 3:20
I am and many others are believing that God has stamped immeasureably more than we can ask or imagine on to our breakthrough!
“That is why I am suffering as I am. Yet this is no cause for shame, because I know whom I have believed, and am convinced that he is able to guard what I have entrusted him until that day.” 2 Timothy 1:12
God is worth of your trust. He guards what you have entrusted him with until the day of completion. You “suffering” is for a purpose. There is purpose to your pain. Trust God with faith the size of a mustard seed.
